GENERAL INFORMATION

Official language
The official language of the congress will be English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided. Regional meetings will be held according to the Regional language of the session.
Currency and credit cards
The official currency in Malta is Euro. Major credit cards are accepted by hotels, restaurants and shops.
Name badge
It is obligatory to wear badges in order to attend all sessions.
Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance will be presented to all registered participants at the end of the event.
Exhibitors
Owners, representatives and employees of exhibiting companies have the possibility to request 2 exhibitor badges for the first 6 square meters booked and one additional badge for each other 9 square meters booked. The exhibitor badge authorizes access to the exhibition and corporate satellite symposia but does not authorize entrance to the scientific activities and functions of the congress.

Passport and visa requirements
Valid passports must be carried by all who wish to enter Malta except for nationals of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Nationals of these countries must be in possession of a valid ID card and be visiting Malta as tourists for a time period not exceeding 3 months.
Climate
The climate in Malta is generally warm and temperate. There are no biting winds, fog, snow, or frost. Rain falls for only short periods. As regards clothing, lightweight cottons and linens are worn between March and September, although warmer clothes may occasionally be necessary in spring and autumn and on cooler evenings.
